The main objective of creating this channel is to cater to the needs of Mechanical Engineering students from universities pan India.

This video explains about quadrant system required to carry out projections using first angle projection. A two dimensional space is divided into four parts using two perpendicular lines. These four spaces are known as quadrants. Similarly a three dimensional space is divided into four quadrants using two perpendicular planes. These planes are describes as vertical plane (VP) and horizontal plane (HP). HP and VP intersect forming a straight line called as XY line. Lecture 01 Introduction to Engineering Mechanics

This video explains the introduction part of Engineering Mechanics. It consists of basic definitions and meaning of various branches of Engineering Mechanics Engineering Mechanics: it is the branch of physics which deals with the study of effect of force system on a particle or rigid body. Deformable bodies: Explained using example of lever and weights, the body which gets deformed or which changes its shape on the application of force. Rigid bodies: It has mass, dimension, shape and doesn’t deform or change its shape on the application of force. In real there are no rigid bodies its assumed concept just to make calculations easy. Statics: Deals with the study of force system on a rigid body when it is at rest. Dynamics: Deals with the study of geometry of motion of rigid body or particle.
